Biography

It takes a special kind of person to perservere through the intense Accelerated Juris Doctor (AJD) program, but Nicole “Colie” Young is one of those people. A driven, articulate professional, Colie participated in the IEE both as a Research Associate and in our Energy Clinic. She also participated in the 2019 Global Sustainability Field Studies trip to Havana, Cuba. After graduation, Colie had just entered her first appearance as counsel in a case, when she was offered an immediate-hire judicial clerkship where she does both trial and appellate work for a new judge. She wants to clone her amazing boss and move on to grow, but will keep loving clerking until her next great offer.
