Overview

In partnership with the University of Vermont, VLGS is committed to providing affordable, advanced higher education and seeks to allow students to achieve a Bachelor’s Degree and a Juris Doctor degree in a total of either five of six years.


Requirements

Candidates must have a minimum GPA of 3.4. Candidates must have a recommendation from one UVM full-time faculty member. They must also complete an essay detailing the reasons for their interest in the study of law and in participating in the Program. 
Students must have a minimum GPA of 3.5 at the end of their fifth undergraduate semester. Students must sit for the LSAT no later than October of their third year of study at UVM and present a score of 155. Students should have no evidence of Character and Fitness concerns that would disqualify the applicant from admission.

Application Process

Candidates may seek admission to the program after their first year of study at UVM and should apply to Vermont Law and Graduate School by January 31st of their Junior year.
