Yanes attends the annual “Farming for the Future” conference of the Pennsylvania Association of Sustainable Agriculture (PASA)

Louisa Yanes attended the annual "Farming for the Future" conference of the Pennsylvania Association of Sustainable Agriculture (PASA). There was record attendance this year with nearly 2,200 attendees. Most of the attendees were organic farmers working land from 1 acre to over 200 acres. While there, Louisa distributed 150 of the Institute’s "The Farmer’s Handbook for Energy Self-Reliance" and around 20 of the smaller "A Farmer’s Guide to Energy Self Reliance." She also engaged with farmers that were already engaging in various energy efficiency measures or looking for ways they can increase their farm’s energy efficiency.
