Vermont Agricultural Literacy Week: Celebrating Our Ancestral Roots

Please join FALS and NALSA on Thursday, November 15 at Barrister’s Bookstore from 6-8 p.m. to celebrate Vermont’s Agricultural Literacy Week.

The theme for Agricultural Literacy Week is Celebrating Our Ancestral Roots, focusing on the history, traditional practices, and contributions of native agriculture in Vermont.

In collaboration with NOFA-VT, we’re happy to welcome storyteller and Abenaki artist Aaron York to share a brief history of the Vermont Abenaki and how the Abenaki learned to be (and are) awesome stewards of the land.

Light refreshments will be served.
