The keynote speaker, Lynn Oberlander, is General Counsel for Gizmodo Media Group. Ms. Oberlander brings a rich experience in all aspects of media law, including newsgathering issues, IP rights, the critical importance of the First Amendment in protecting journalists and news organizations, and a lifelong commitment to the importance of accurate journalism in a democratic society.
Joined by experts in First Amendment law–as well as prominent local and national journalists–the three panels will focus on:
- FOIA litigation;
- whistleblowers, leakers and national security;
- and (3) fake news, propaganda and disinformation.
We are excited to delve into this important and timely topic, and very much look forward to seeing all of you there!
