Diversity Committee Standing Meeting

A monthly meeting for the Diversity Committee. All are welcome to attend. The Teams link is sent via email. By joining the meeting, you are agreeing to keep what is discussed during the meeting confidential, as personal and sensitive information may be shared. Additionally, you agree to the following community agreements established during our first meeting:

• Speak from the “I” – make statements about yourself
• Confidentiality – We will have hard conversations here
• Move up to listen – move up to share
• Removing titles and hierarchy
• Rather than “assuming positive intent”, we should “not assume negative intent” – do not assume what is being said is intended to be negative or hurtful.
• Encouraging participants to participate by video when possible, and by other means when not possible.
• Being cognizant of saying “women” and not “female”
• No assumptions – allow everyone to self-identify
