2019 High School Mock Trial

This is an annual event through the student organization SPEAK. This event is a mock trial that high schools from around the state participate in and that actual judges and lawyers in Vermont volunteer their time to judge. This year we are expanding the event to facilitate more schools since interest has increased, and the Vermont Attorney General’s Office, Civil Division has also volunteered their time to help train and coach students from schools around the state leading up to the competition. This provides a valuable opportunity to Vermont Law School for positive public relations, as well as inspiring good will and competition in our young people.
