Legal Foundations for a Sustainable Economy: First Panel

March 5, 2021 @ 7:00 pm - 8:30 pm

Is a new, sustainable, and regenerative economy possible, and how could it center democracy, care, cooperation, and justice? What role can we play, as future law and policy practitioners, to build a support system for this kind of economy and the communities who are developing it?

To build a space in which our generation of law students can explore these questions together, the Vermont, Lewis & Clark and Stanford Law Schools are forming an intercollegiate Sustainable Economies Law community. On March 5th, we will host a public panel to launch the community, with legal minds from organizations working on the frontiers of “sustainable economy” architecture and practice.  The panel will be at 11am PT / 2pm EST.
