Delcianna Winders, professor and director of the Animal Law and Policy Institute, is featured for the second time in the prestigious Brooks Institute for Animal Rights Law and Policy, Inc. Animal Law Fundamentals video series.
In her presentation, “The Animal Welfare Act: Oversight of Exhibition,” Winders details how the AWA governs animal exhibition, and the tools deployed by advocates to make up for the act’s shortcomings. This video builds upon her first presentation, and will be followed up by a third regarding the AWA’s oversight of the pet trade later this year.
